If you're planning a wedding, one of the most important things to consider is (of course!) your floral arrangements, but it can be overwhelming and a little intimidating to ask about cost and budget for this, because... how long is a piece of string?!
Many florists set a minimum spend, however we don't. Here at The Olney Flower Shop we cater for any budget whether you're working to a tight budget or are looking for opulence. We often get asked for a ballpark figure, on average, how much do wedding flowers cost. Its a really hard question to answer, but we find that couples spend around £1,200-£1,700 on their flowers on average.
For £1200-£1700, you can usually expect to get a full design package that includes bridal party flowers, simple but impactful centrepieces, some ceremony flowers, and delivery. Of course, the exact package you receive will depend on your specific needs and preferences, as well as the size of your wedding, number of locations and how many guests (tables) you have.
One thing to keep in mind is that installations such as moongates and flower arches are always more expensive due to the work and amount of stems that go into them, but they absolutely make the day and provide excellent photo backdrops - creating memories to last a lifetime.
When it comes to budgeting for your wedding flowers, it's important to consider all of these factors and work with a florist who can help you create the perfect arrangements within your budget.
We absolutely love incorporating seasonally grown, local and British-grown flowers wherever possible and are always exploring eco-friendly wedding flower techniques to make your day even more special.
We work within any budget and pride ourselves on always finding a solution that will work for you, make your day look fabulous and flowers that you'll fall in love with.
After we meet for your free consultation, we itemise your quote and give you a price bracket for most items so that you can choose how much you'd like to pay for each piece within this bracket (a little more for the bridal bouquet perhaps, and a little less on a fireplace arrangement for example). This way you can see how much each item is priced, and we also offer alternative shapes/styles/sizes where appropriate to help you to budget accordingly.
